As of the 16th June, Multisealant A will be discontinued and Multimastic SP will be the all-in-one solution for all sealant applications.

This means that from now on, Multimastic SP will be the sole acrylic-based sealant in our product lineup. In addition to its traditional uses, it can now also be applied for linear joint seal applications — making it the one sealant for all firestop solutions.

Clients can confidently continue using their existing Multisealant A inventory, as its ETA certification will remain fully valid.

Why this change?
This transition is part of our strategy to simplify our product portfolio and improve stock management efficiency for both our partners and clients.

This transition required several updates to our systems and documentation. All necessary preparations were planned and completed in advance. Below is a summary of the key changes:

• The updated Multimastic SP, already ETA-approved under EN 1366-3 for penetration seals, has now also been successfully tested and certified according to EN 1366-4 for linear joint applications.

• New features and application types have been added to the product documentation. The updated TDS and PDS for Multimastic SP are now available for download on our website.

• For users of the Multiselector, Datamanager, and Projectmanager, these changes have been fully implemented in the Mulcol digital tools.
